Detachment

An anatomically correct depiction of the human brain displays clarity. The heart may be broken, however our brain functions remain. We could find ourselves making bad decisions, or find that we have become self destructive. Nevertheless, we grow and learn from that. Detachment, loss, and disappointment can be found in this piece as well as hope, growth, and change. The color green symbolizes renewal, life, fertility, and resurrection.
